Line of lifestyle bags and home storage organization products, designed for the consumer on the go.
Lead designer for product development, designing all color + patterns for every product. The development team was challenged to utilize a new material and develop a line of storage products.
As the lead designer for color and the prints + patterns I started with trend research and theme development. The goal was to design a collection of patterns that could work with each other and help the consumer to create their own mix-n-matched assortment.
Some of the patterns were hand drawn or water-color painted and then scanned in and manipulated digitally to be a repeat pattern and be manufacturable.
When design ideation began for the prints I was challenged to design a pattern that was a representation of the branding. I wanted to create something fun and subtle while still keeping the hummingbird logo in tact.
Products were sold at JoAnn, At Home, Amazon & a Direct to Consumer website.
